This document contains the data management information related to the data processing carried out in the Vampire application operated by FisheeTech Kft.
This privacy policy has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter: the "Regulation").

Scope of Processed Data, Legal Basis, Purpose, and Duration of Data Processing
Logging Fishing Trips
Description of data processing case:
The Application allows users to log their fishing trips. During the logging process, users can input the following information:

Caught fish:

Species,

Weight,
-
Size,
-
Leader type,
-
Bait used;
-

Bite alarm data:

Time of deployment,
-
Time until bite,
-
Duration of the fight,
-
Maximum speed,
-
Line movement,
-
Duration of bite,

Notes;
-

Based on user permission:
-
Environmental data (wind, weather, moon phase, air pressure),

Exact GPS coordinates of the location,
-
Photo taken by the angler of the bite (if uploaded).

The displayed data based on permissions is only visible if the user has granted the Application the necessary permissions on their mobile device.
If the user has a Vampire bite alarm device distributed by the Data Controller and has paired it with the Application, the device automatically transmits bite data to the Application.
Users may also choose to start a live fishing trip, in which case other users of the Application can follow the trip in real time through the recorded data. This feature is only available with explicit user consent and when the feature is enabled.
Legal basis and purpose:
The legal basis is your voluntary consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.
The purpose is to record relevant data regarding the fishing trip.
Duration:
The data is retained for the duration of your registration.
Registration
Description of data processing case:
Using the Application requires login, which can be done via Apple or Google account.
During registration, the following data is processed as shared by Apple or Google:

Name stored in your Apple or Google account.
Legal basis and purpose:
Voluntary consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.
The purpose is to enable access to the Application.
Duration:
The data is retained for the duration of your registration.
Data Processors

Hosting provider: KAMATERA Inc., which stores data within the European Union.

Backup: The Data Controller stores backups from the Application on Google Inc.’s Google Drive service, which stores data in compliance with EU data processing requirements.
Your Rights Related to Data Processing
During the data processing period, under the Regulation, you are entitled to the following rights:

Access to personal data and information related to data processing,

Right to rectification,

Right to restrict processing,

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"),

Right to data portability,
-
Right to object,
-
Right to withdraw consent.
If you wish to exercise your rights, this requires identification and communication with you. Thus, we may request personal data necessary for verification (but only such data we already process about you). Your requests and any complaints will be retained in our email system for the timeframe outlined in this policy.
We will respond to complaints within 30 days at the latest.
Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time, in which case the related data will be deleted from our systems.
Right of Access
You have the right to receive confirmation whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, you may access:

Categories of processed personal data;

Information about the recipients or recipient categories;

Planned duration of data storage or criteria for determining the duration;

Repeated requests may incur a reasonable fee.
Access is provided via email after verification.
Right to Rectification
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data rectified without undue delay.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You may request restriction if:

You contest the accuracy of the data (processing is limited for the time of verification);

Processing is unlawful, but you oppose erasure and request restriction;

We no longer need the data, but you require it for legal claims;

You have objected to processing and the assessment of overriding legitimate grounds is pending.
Restricted data may only be processed (except for storage) with your consent or for legal purposes.
You will be notified at least 3 working days in advance before lifting the restriction.
Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten")
You have the right to request deletion of personal data if:

It is no longer needed for the original purpose;

You withdraw consent and no other legal basis exists;

You object and there are no overriding legitimate grounds;

Processing was unlawful;

Deletion is required under EU or Member State law.
If the data was made public, we will, as far as reasonably possible, inform other controllers to delete links, copies, or replicas.
Exceptions to erasure include:

Freedom of expression and information;

Compliance with a legal obligation (e.g., invoicing data);

Public interest or exercise of official authority;

Legal claims.
Right to Object
You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. In such cases, we will no longer process your data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the data is required for legal claims.
Right to Data Portability
If processing is based on your consent or a contract, you may request your data in a machine-readable format (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV) or ask us to transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
Legal Remedies
If you believe we have violated data protection laws or failed to fulfill your request, you may initiate an investigation with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, deletion, export, or modification of your data. These requirements are also imposed on our data processors.
We maintain records of any data protection incidents and, where necessary, notify you.
Other Provisions
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy without affecting the purpose or legal basis of data processing.
Should we intend to use your data for a purpose other than that for which it was collected, we will inform you before any further processing and provide details including:

Whether providing data is a legal or contractual requirement;

Potential consequences of not providing data;

This Privacy Policy is effective from June 30, 2025.
