Brief project summary: The project started from our own idea. As passionate anglers, we were faced with the fact that our electric bite alarms were constantly beeping due to their sensitivity during a rainy, windy fishing trip. To set them, we had to go out of our tent into the pouring rain, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. That's when the idea for the Vampire smart bite alarm system was born - an innovative solution consisting of a solar-powered bite alarm and a phone app. With the help of the app, the sensitivity of the bite alarm can be conveniently adjusted from the tent, thus avoiding false alarms and ensuring that the system only signals real bites. The original idea started as a thesis, but has now developed into a full-fledged, premium product. The application allows anglers to review their missed bites and take advantage of the endless range of the system: they can even leave the fishing spot to talk to their neighbor, for example, because their phone will notify them when a bite is caught. As passionate anglers, we are constantly developing and expanding the system based on the needs of anglers, to always provide the most modern and practical features.
